1 Information We Do Not Collect

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core features. Each is used strictly as described below:

3 Local Data Storage

The App stores the following information only on your device, in a local database. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Scan history (content of scanned codes)
• Generated QR code history (content you generated)
• Timestamps of when each scan or generation occurred

You can delete individual items or clear your entire history at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.

4 Third-Party Services

We use the following Google services to provide core functionality. Each operates under Google's own privacy practices:

Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect:

• Advertising ID (a resettable identifier, not personally identifying)
• General device information (device model, OS version, language)
• Approximate location based on IP address
• Information about ad interactions (views, clicks)

This data is used by Google to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can:

• Opt out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out
• Reset your Advertising ID at any time

Google ML Kit (Barcode Scanning)

We use Google ML Kit's on-device barcode scanning library. Recognition happens entirely on your device — no camera images or scan contents are sent to Google.

Google Play Services (In-App Updates)

The App uses Google Play's in-app update API to notify you when a new version is available. This service is governed by Google Play's privacy policy.

5 Data Security

Because we do not collect or transmit your personal data, there is nothing for us to secure on a server. Data stored locally on your device is protected by the security features of the Android operating system (sandboxing, device encryption if enabled).

6 Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate action.

7 Your Rights

Since the App stores data only on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible inside the App's History screen
• Deletion: Delete individual items or clear all history in one tap
• Opt-out of ads personalisation: Use your device's Google Ads settings
• Uninstall: Removing the App deletes all locally stored data

8 International Users

The App is available worldwide. If you are using the App from outside India, please note that advertising data may be processed by Google in various countries under Google's terms. We do not perform any additional international data transfers ourselves.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
